Jewellery recycling workshop
Beadazzled Rose presented a jewellery workshop in February 2010

Dismantled old/broken/neglected pieces of jewellery and reinterpreted them into new designs which are contemporary, "pret-a-porter" and nicely fitting for the wearer.

Participants brought along at least 2 pieces of jewellery, (preferably with some beading) which could be dismantled/reworked during the session, also any beads, charms, buttons, pendants, singleton earrings etc. to use or trade. New findings and hardware were supplied. Refreshments and snacks were also provided. Requisite tools were supplied for participants' use, but if anyone had wire cutters or needlenosed pliers they brought them along. A selection of beads, buttons and embellishments were available to buy on a pay-as-you-go basis.
