Wreathmaking Workshops
Christmas season 2010 - 8th December
£20 pp including materials

The evening session at Curves fitness centre, Weymouth was well attended and every participant made a very beautiful wreath!
We'd like to Thank Angela Woodhouse for presenting and also Curves owner/director Barb Hart for generously allowing us to use the fitness centre gym to present in. Thanks also to all those who took part - we'll recognise you by your fabulously adorned front doors!

Unfortunately, the other two wreathmaking sessions scheduled to take place at the gallery next week have not been well subscribed and will therefore not take place as originally advertised. If this leaves you dissappointed then please remember to register well in advance for any workshops we advertise in future!

Christmas Crafts Workshop
Tuesday 21st December 2010 2-5pm
£10 pp including all meterials, instruction/advice, hot drinks and a snack

This workshop is also contingent on subscription so please get in touch to express your interest and register. (*Children under the age of 10 who attend must be accompanied by a parent or another responsible adult. This person does not need to pay a participation fee if they are only supervising/assisting.)

This workshop is filling up so if you'd like to attend please get in touch ASAP.
(If we become over-subscribed, there is also the option to present a second session on Wednesday the 22nd from 2pm-5pm)

Jewellery recycling workshop
£20 per person

Dismantle old/broken/neglected pieces of jewellery and reinterpret them into new designs which are contemporary, "pret-a-porter" and nicely fitting for the wearer.

Bring along at least 2 pieces of jewellery, (preferably with some beading) that can be dismantled/reworked during the session. New findings and hardware will be supplied and included in the cost of £20pp. Refreshments and snacks will also be provided/included. Requisite tools will be supplied for participants' use, but if you have wire cutters or needlenosed pliers please bring them along. A selection of beads, buttons and embellishments will also be made available to buy on a pay-as-you-go basis. If you have a hoarde of beads/charms/buttons/pendants/singleton earrings etc. that have been awaiting a special project - bring them along to use (or trade?) on the night.
