From Hampshire, Nicola Burley is an abstact artist. These paintings are from her extensive “Soul Searching” series. The colourful works have a calming, mesmeric effect that really gets the observer thinking.
“I am fascinated by how abstract colours and shapes speak – make contact with something deep within – conjuring up memories, feelings and instincts...These paintings mean a lot to me; trigger a response in me and the title of each piece [encapsulates] this. I will be interested to learn if my paintings have a similar effect on others.”
